I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic to document this amazing wedding. My wife and I decided to turn it into a family trip and take the kiddos with us. Crosby was 2 at the time and Goldie was only 6 weeks! (Our pediatrician said taking Goldie was totally safe when she was a week old, but when we asked him again, a week before the trip, he said maybe it wasn't the best idea!!)
Anyway, the trip should have taken about 9 hours total, but due to a refueling issue at LAX, we missed our connection, and the trip took a total of 30 hours! With a 2 year old and a 6 week old! Not to mention we arrived in DR at 4am with no scheduled way to get to the wedding site (a 2 hour drive from the airport).
We made it and the wedding was INCREDIBLE! Small, intimate and tropical!
We stayed in DR for a week after the wedding and had one of the best trips of our lives! Thank you Ashley and Eric!
